Power from the People: New Forms of Urban Activism

Why the talk is inspiring?

Around the world, citizens are initiating actions to improve public urban space. These acts embody a political philosophy, an urban ideology, and a cultural trend in which literally anyone can be an agent of urban transformation. The movement is all the more relevant as the world’s population expands exponentially & cities continue to urbanize at astonishing rates.

The talks are held every Thursday, 8.00 p.m. at the National Art Gallery (NDG), Konstitucijos av. 22,Vilnius.

Entrance is free of charge.

The events are recorded and the videos are placed online at www.archfondas.lt.
