Sculpture in public spaces: values of artists, clients and the public

Diverse experiences of the panel will reveal why the artists’ relation to the public and contemporary art remains so complicated. Is the idea of a Spanish philosopher José Ortega y Gasset expressed in the article “The Dehumanization of Art” still relevant: “Let us remember that in epochs with two different types of art, one for minorities and one for the majority, the latter has always been realistic”?
